NEUROCARE
NEUROCARE is a specialist multi-disciplinary group offering comprehensive Liaison Neuropsychiaric support services to a broad spectrum of Healthcare establishments.
Both brain-specific and general physical illnesses are capable of causing complications of brain or mind.
Complications can include confusional states (delirium), memory problems (dementia), attention deficit (ADD), emotional symptoms (depression, anxiety, agitation), behavioural abnormalities, or syndromes specific to certain brain areas (focal deficits).
Clinical services include multi-disciplinary outpatient consultation, virtual consultation, hospital liaison services, various options for hospitalization, critical services to retirement villages, and a broad offering of legal assistance.
Specialist tests available include pathological investigation (blood tests etc), brain imaging (MRI and CT scans), electrophysiology (EEG for epilepsy), muscle tests (EMG), nerve tests (NCS), detailed memory and attention deficit (ADD) assessment as well as options for remote screening and monitoring ( MediWeb).
Our specialists represent the fields of Liaison Psychiatry, clinical Neurology, applied Neurophysiology, diagnostic Neuroradiology, and all branches of Psychology including Neuropsychology.

NEUROCARE Liaison Services
Liaison Neuropsychiatry is the sub-specialty which provides Neurological, Psychiatric and Psychological treatment to Patients attending General Physical Health Hospitals or Treatment Centers.
As such we are keen to offer our continued assistance to Patients presenting with such symptoms to specialist out-patient clinics, AE emergency departments, when admitted to hospital in-patient wards and GP practices.
We recently expanded our capabilities significantly as we worked hard to offer:
- A same-day ward referral response capacity (WhatsApp-based simplified system),
- A next-day emergency out-patient capacity,
- Specialist NC Memory Centers,
- Specialist NC Attention Deficit Centers,
- Exceptional NC NeuroLab services (EEG, 24-h EEG, NCS, and EMG),
- Newly launched NC PsychWeb (general Psychiatric- and Psychological services),
- High-tech web-based NC Mediweb virtual consultation, screening and monitoring services.

NEUROCARE Memory Services
At NEUROCARE we specialize in the diagnosis and management of conditions impacting on attention, concentration and memory.
Our Patients have access to the most advanced care and therapies available. Our aim is to bring together all critical expert fields (Neuropsychiatry, Neuropsychology, Neurology and Neurosurgery) in order to establish a truly comprehensive, expert service.
NEUROCAE Attention Deficit Patients range across all ages and receive detailed diagnostic assessment, responsible medication regularly reviewed, objective testing by Neurologists, Psychiatrists and Educational Psychologist, and full administrative support (reports, exam concessions etc).

- Blood tests specifically relevant to memory deficits,
- The most applicable Brain Scan for the problem at hand,
- EEG (similar to ECG but measuring the electrical activity of the brain),
- A complete Neuropsychological test battery (quantifying memory and other cognitive deficits), and

NEUROCARE NeuroLab
NEUROLAB offers specialist level Neurophysiological investigation reported by Neurologists.
Our services include quality:
- Routine EEG testing,
- 24-hour EEG available on Medical Aid,
- Nerve conduction studies (NCS) and
- Comprehensive muscle examination (EMG).
Most similar services available are performed and interpreted by independent Technologists. At NEUROCARE NeuroLab we pride ourselves on the fact that all our investigations are supervised and read by specialist Neurologists, and therefore considered in context of the clinical presentation.
