NEUROCARE
Liaison Psychiatry Consultation
Tariffs as from 1 January 2025
NEUROCARE aims to offer both quality and cost-effective services and as such all tariffs are based on nationally agreed SASOP guidelines.
We have achieved contractual PMB arrangements with most South African Medical Aids, in addition to offering discounted private tariffs when applicable.
Please note we developed comprehensive telemetric consultation services by telephone, WhatsApp video call or Zoom available to busy professionals, vulnerable Patients and specific settings such as Retirement Villages.
In terms of international consultation clinical services are deemed to be technically rendered in South Africa, prescriptions are provided irrespective of whether they are deemed valid in that particular Country, and appointments are secured by advanced full payment.
No referral letters are required for accessing any of our services.
Due to the nature and complexity of Liaison Psychiatry tariffs are charged for global services rendered and Patients hereby agree to wave any strict face-to-face time-based principle as sometimes implied by third party Sponsors.
We are hereby indemnified from any compensation or action when Patients do not make full use of the reserved time-slot either by choice or by circumstance such as during telemetric consultation.
Be aware that attending Psychologists, or being hospitalized will delete a significant portion of approved PMB benefits. Always discuss such interventions with us in order to manage your benefits optimally.
Prescriptions for brain disorders by Codes of Practice require clinical review at least on a three-monthly basis, and longer term prescriptions will apply in exceptional circumstances only.
Consent is hereby given to NEUROCARE for liaising with any applicable third party in the interest of Patient care.
